We Know This Industry Because We Lived It
PolySurface Marketing wasn't started by a marketing agency looking for a new vertical. It was started by someone who ran a floor coating business, scaled it, sold it — and then couldn't stop helping other coating companies grow.
The Founder's Story

Before there was PolySurface Marketing, there was a coating truck, a two-man crew, and a lot of early mornings.
Our founder started from the ground up in the floor coating industry — not as a marketer, but as an operator. What started as a one-crew operation doing garage floor installs grew over time into a full-scale coating company running four crews, executing one-day installs, and building a reputation for quality work and reliable service in a competitive market. That business was eventually sold — a milestone most small business owners only dream about.
But that wasn't the end of the story.
After the sale, the next chapter was a wholesale coatings business — supplying product to other installers and contractors in the industry. Running that business meant wearing a new hat: marketing director. And it turned out, all those years of knowing what customers wanted, what questions they asked, what made them say yes, and what made them hang up — that knowledge translated directly into marketing that worked. Ads got written the right way. Landing pages said the right things. Leads converted because the messaging was built by someone who had actually sold the product in a driveway conversation hundreds of times.
Word got around. Other coating business owners started asking questions. How are you getting so many leads? Who's running your ads? Can you do the same for me?
The answer, for a long time, was: I'm doing it myself.
But eventually, the requests became too frequent to ignore — and the gap became too obvious to look past. Too many floor coating companies were being taken advantage of by generalist agencies who didn't know a polyaspartic from a polyurea, who used the same cookie-cutter ad templates for roofers, painters, and coaters alike, and who charged premium prices for below-average results.
That's when PolySurface Marketing was born.
Why It Matters That We Know Your Industry
Marketing is about understanding your customer. And in the floor coating business, that means understanding:
The customer psychology. A homeowner calling about a garage floor is often making a $3,000–$8,000 decision. They're comparing quotes, reading reviews, and looking for someone they trust. Our ads and landing pages are built to build that trust fast.
The terminology. Flake systems. Metallic epoxy. Polyaspartic topcoats. Moisture barriers. Broadcast density. Shot blasting. We don't just use these words to sound credible — we use them because our customers use them, and Google rewards relevance.
The sales process. We know the questions customers ask, the objections they raise, and the moments when a lead converts into a booked job. Every piece of marketing we create is built to support that process.
The seasonality. We know when demand spikes, when it dips, and how to keep your pipeline full through the shoulder seasons.
The competitive landscape. We know who you're competing against, how they're advertising, and where your opportunity to differentiate lies.
No generalist agency can give you that. We can — because we've been there.
To be the most effective and most honest marketing partner in the floor coating industry.
We believe coating companies deserve marketing that actually works — campaigns built with real knowledge, real strategy, and real accountability. No vague reports, no inflated vanity metrics, no lock-in contracts designed to trap you. Just results.
